This was a christmas present. ahem.

This is a detachable collar. A somewhat strange piece of clothing/jewellery, but the concept is interesting.

It closes in the front with an hook-and-eye-closure which I managed to hide pretty well – And even though the beading took quite some time, it was a very enjoyable little project.

I used this pattern because I really, really liked the shape. I tend to prefer crafting my own patterns, but this one is just great.

I kind of like how the collar in the pattern is encrusted with beads, but I decided to do something a little more subtle – The smaller beads and dark, earthy colours should be working really great with the recipient’s style (And I really, really hope she agrees).
