It’s moving. Painting something while it’s still rotating on the lathe has to be the most satisfactory activity ever.
painting and painting and painting
This is an experiment. I have no Idea what I’m doing here, but it’s a lot of fun. Luckily I know someone who is willing to teach me …
if epiphany would sound a little less pretentious …
This is some oooold wallpaper that I found in a tiny corridor in an abadoned factory building somewhere in Vienna. Isn’t it great?
In the middle of gathering my stuff for a little weekend getaway, I noticed how much of the things I was packing were handmade by me. And I couldn’t help but stop for a moment and smile.
When I was just 15 or 16 years old I started admiring crafters, sewists, makers.
I really wanted to be one of those people that would naturally sew a new pair of pants rather than go to the mall and get everything there. And just now I realized that I somehow became that person.
It seems that, somehow, one can become quite a lot of things by just stubbornly wishing for them to become reality.
